Donations in 2010 and early 2011
The Owners have been able to make donations to two local organisations; one involved in Orphanage work and the other in rehabilitation of Alcoholics. Further donations are planned for a Micro Enterprise Ngo / Credit Union and a second Micro Enterprise Training and Loan NGO. It has also been possible to give clothing (donated through IWAM) and food supplies to those in desperate need in our local area. Total value of donations will be approximately USD 4,000 and this year funds came from individuals, churches and the owners donated most of their salaries. Profits were kept in the company to help support advances and cash flow to Artisans.
If you would like to help us to help more folk please email me. Our first week gave work and dignity to 40 people. In the weeks to come we hope to repeat this process for another 120 people. It's costing about 3 USD or 2 GBP per person. This is immediate work and support for those in need.
