Welcome to Mary and Martha Mongolia. We're a small company developing business opportunities for Mongolian people and making a positive difference to their lives. Our focus is Hand Crafted Gifts which enables us to maximise small business opportunities for artisans. We want skilled labour intensive work to be generated so more people have work and dignity. We aim to be the “bridge” or a "good middleman" bringing together the skills, creativity and fantastic products of artisans, helping them to reach markets they otherwise cannot reach.
Mongolia is a huge country and our network of artisans reaches across the whole of the country (Map coming soon). By networking small businesses from the far-flung parts of Mongolia we enable people to stay in their home towns – avoiding the need to migrate to the capital city to survive.
We now give orders to over 20 people which gives work to more than 70 individuals through self employed, small partnerships, cooperatives and small companies.
